SNAPSHOOTING macro-regional stories!
How to communicate the importance of macro-regional cooperation to the public?
We are happy to hear that the Slovenian TV was given a challenge to prepare series of educational shows and contents, which through stories told by regular people will depict examples of good practices that were realised with the help of the cohesion policy instruments. The purpose is to show, explain and bring closer to the public what cohesion policy really is and how it helped people through concrete examples. Knowing and understanding the measures of cohesion policy is still weak among the general public, they know little of the numerous successfully realised projects and how they were achieved with the financial help from the EU.
The project encompasses the territory of three macro regions: Alpine, Danube and Adriatic-Ionian region. Within the last the already recorded themes are: green tourism in Dalmatia, shellfishing in the Kotor Bay, project of the Bojana River and invasive species of fish in the context of environmental protection, a story about coffee route to the port of Trieste, ballast water, environmental aspect and challenges of the Gulf of Trieste. Take a look at photos taken when videorecording at Bojana river:
Shows will be presented in the prime time in early winter. We will keep you posted!
