Invitation to the Conference on Maritime and Coastal Tourism
Hellenic EUSAIR presidency, the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Executive Unit for PA - Greek Ministry of Tourism is inviting you to attend a workshop on Maritime and Coastal Tourism, on the 11th of April 2025, in Kalamata, Greece
The event will serve as a platform to foster knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and cooperation, paving the way for a more sustainable and prosperous future for Maritime and Coastal Tourism. Key players and stakeholders in the field of yachting, cruising, diving and fishing tourism, culture, as well as academics and researchers, will participate in this workshop.
Event will discuss the current landscape of maritime and coastal tourism including the legal framework, initiatives and experiences/practices from participating countries, development of cruise tourism, yachting, diving tourism and other maritime related tourism sectors. Also, event will highlight the main challenges and future perspectives of maritime and coastal tourism like monitoring tourism flows, evaluation of maritime and coastal tourism impact on the environment, local economies and communities, developing joint initiatives and projects for sustainable growth.
25th TSG4 meeting will take place at the same venue a day before, on 10th of April 2025.
