An on-site excursion to the Virgin Forest Reserves Rajhenavski Rog, Krakovo forest, and the Forest Genetic Monitoring plot Pri Studencu is organized and presented virtually. The press conference will take place on the last day of the LIFEGENMON conference. Read more!
LIFEGENMON is a project to support the long-term maintenance of the adaptability of trees to changes in the environment through the development of a Forest Genetic Monitoring system. Project is co-financed by the European Union's financial instrument LIFE (Environment and Climate Action Program) and ministries of project partner countries. The project involves six partners from three countries (Germany, Greece, Slovenia). Project activities are coordinated by Slovenian Forestry Institute and lasts from July 2014 to December 2020. The project budget is € 5,484,162. Coordination - project leader: H. Kraigher.
