EUSDR Seed Money Facility: new funding opportunity within the Danube Region Programme

We would like to inform you that within the Danube Region Programme, a new funding opportunity has been opened from 27 November 2023.  Application can be submitted until 24 March 2024.

EUSDR Seed money facility (SMF) shall serve as a tool for kick-starting development of projects in line with the 12 priority areas of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. Proposals submitted under the SMF call shall be aligned to at least one EUSDR PA and shall clearly address the EUSDR action plan and targets.

The objective of the seed money facility support is to prepare projects for further funding sources, regardless the financial instrument to be addressed by the project developed, be it national, mainstream EU, transnational or cross border or by any other public or private investor, or public-private partnership available in the Danube Region.

The programme’s MA/ JS and the EUSDR PACs provide individual consultations and thematic seminars to facilitate the generation of project proposals and to support applicants in the project proposals development process. The MA/ JS offers information and advice on the technical part of the call, while for advice related to the thematic scope of the project, please contact the EUSDR PA2 coordinators at  danube-energy@mfa.gov.hu or danube.energy@mpo.cz

On 15 February 2024, a lead applicant seminar will be organized for all those interested in applying in this call. The registration will be open in January 2024. The recording and presentation from the seminar that took place in December 2023 is available on the DRP website.
