EUSAIR TSG 4 Workshop “The Present and the Future of Sustainable and Responsible Tourism”
At the occasion of the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia with the support of the Interreg ADRION programme organized an international workshop “The Present and Future of Sustainable and Responsible Tourism” with an aim to share expertise and good practise across stakeholders of the Adriatic and Ionian Region. With a strong focus on SMEs, the workshop was rooted in the Sustainable Tourism Pillar (4) of the European Strategy for the region (EUSAIR). Moreover, the workshop’s purpose was to raise awareness of the potential of tourism to advance the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular through the Sustainable Tourism Programme of the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (10YFP STP).
