Workshop of the Interreg capitalisation network for Better Governance and Institutional Development
On 19-20 March, Interact organised the first meeting of the capitalisation network on better governance across region. The scope of the event was to present different initiatives and actions that were carried out under the thematic objective 11 ‘Enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and efficient public administration’, which is one of eleven thematic objectives of the European cohesion policy
The participants came from all over Europe to discuss about interrelation between institutional capacity, cooperation, and capitalization from different perspectives, such as cross-border, transnational and macro-regional perspective. After the discussion, different activities and case studies in the field of institutional capacity and better governance were presented. For the Adriatic and Ionian Region, capacity building activities, which are supported by the EUSAIR, have been outlined.
