Izola, Slovenia on 10 July 2017

»Blue growth« is the EU long term strategy underlying the importance of seas and oceans in the European economy and promoting the great potential of seas and oceans in fostering the innovation and sustainable growth in the marine and maritime sectors.

The aim of this event is to bring together national stakeholders active in the field of Blue Growth, to explore relationship between the Blue Growth and Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Republic of Slovenia and to dicsuss new potentials and possibilities for the development of Blue Growth in the macroregion by exploring the financial sources and funding opportunities through EU programmes and framework programmes.

This is a national event, the official language is Slovene.

The event is jointly organized by the Slovene Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, Ministry of Health, Ministy of Agriculture, Forestry and Food and the Government office for Development and European cohesion policy with the support of the Public agency for promotion of entrepreneurship and developing projects – the implementing strucutre of the EUSAIR Facility Point Project Partner Municipality of Izola.
