Towards a Sustainable Blue Economy in the Mediterranean region

On February 2nd 2021 in Brussels, 42 ministers of Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) agreed to intensify their efforts towards a sustainable blue economy in the Mediterranean.

Their goal is to promote the recovery of the region's economies after the COVID-19 crisis and to address environmental and climate challenges.
