EXTRAORDINARY COVID-19 12th GOVERNING BOARD MEETING OF EUSAIR
Extraordinary COVID-19 12th Governing Board meeting of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region was organised on 10 June 2020, for the 1st time online and more importantly for the 1st time hosted by the Slovenian Presidency.
After the official hand-over of the Presidency from Republic of Serbia to Slovenia, following welcoming words were presented by Slovenian Minister for Foreign Affairs, leading SI Presidency. Please listen to his words for EUSAIR Governing Board members:
At this extraordinary meeting, EUSAIR reached a great breakthrough!
The list of EUSAIR flagships to be embedded in ESI and IPA funds (descriptions of which you can find in the previous articles) was accepted, as well as the official mission and vision of our Adriatic - Ionian region!

Joint multi-level solutions for common challenges towards a stronger Adriatic and Ionian region.
Due to COVID-19 the meeting was held online, but although we did not meet in person, EUSAIR is a living proof that cooperation and Macro-regional Strategies have no limits, nor physical nor mental. COVID-19 made us even more efficient! Congratulations to our dearest nations and regions, once again we proved that the true will CAN move mountains and offer a pleasant view of the shared sea and its hinterland!
