PANORAMED Interreg Mediterranean: “Rethinking governance in the MED area”

The morning session on 23 September 2019 was open to various stakeholders. It began with an overall presentation of the project and its contribution for improving cooperation in the Mediterranean. This was followed by exchange of views regarding the main findings on gaps, growth and opportunities in Coastal & Maritime Toursim and Maritime Surveillance. An update on work developed in the field of Innovation was provided and project's mainstreaming experimentation and challenges met, while trying to capitalise its results. EUSAIR and Facility Point project's contribution and support was presented with the on-going processes and current organisation of our structures.

The afternoon was dedicated to the third PANORAMED Partners and Associated Partners meeting, defining a joint agenda and modalities for future work, as well as discussing the 1st call for Strategic Projects and further perspectives. The possibilities of inclusion and more active cooperation were examined.

The second day was organised as PANORAMED participatory Lab for maximizing the best output of the workshop at the European Week of Regions & Cities 2019, interactions with external experts and future potential joint events with Associated Partners, other meetings and DG's engagement
