EU Enlargement Package 2019
On the 29th of May 2019, the European Commission adopted its annual assessment of the implementation of reforms in the candidate and potential candidate countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey, together with recommendations on reform priorities for those countries, the so-called EU Enlargement Package 2019.
The main finding is the reconfirmation of European Commission's recommendation of opening accession negotiations with Albania and North Macedonia. The European Commission also adopted its Opinion on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s application for membership of the European Union.
