The MRS have joint forces again!
“Ask not what your strategy can do for you, but what you can do for your strategy” Warsaw, 12/13 Dec 2018
2nd working group on capacity building for MRS implementation, coordinated by Interact, meet again to further reflect on the joint (common) capacity building framework across the MRS. Through the discussion the capacity building framework design was further elaborated, the group discussed options for anchoring the jointly developed platform elements in each of the MRS in a short term (in a framework of currently available funds) and in a long term (in post-2020 period). The discussion also addressed a question on how to embed the joint (common) capacity building framework across the MRS.
The representatives from Danube, Baltic and Adriatic-Ionian region, Interact and EC agreed that there are common challenges to all strategies and have defined the elements (domains) of capacity building needs to mature the strategies, such as Sense making and Intention-setting, Policy coordination and development, Joint strategic communication, Stakeholder engagement and Alignment of funding.
Based on real vivid discussions we have had, the EUSAIR Facility Point is happy to announce that EUSAIR is on the right track. A lot of challenges were already addressed in a proper way in 2018 and the motivation was risen for the 2019!
Stay tuned to our calendar of events and build the capacities with us! :)
